Reunert College is proud to present our top 10 students for the first term of 2017.
Julia, or Mam J, as she was fondly known by all of us at Reunert College, was a member of the Reunert College Staff and part of our family for many years. She was so much more than just a staff member to us. She was our “mother”. She lived to serve others and was always concerned about everyone else’s well-being before her own.
Reunert College is not only serious about academic training, it is also committed to providing additional skills to the students which may benefit them in the workplace.
For many years CBI: African Cables have been a strong partner to Reunert College, and 2016 has been no exception. This year they extended their hands to us once again in so many different ways.
On 27 May 2016, the students and staff of Reunert College undertook a company visit to Fuchs Electronics. They were able to experience first-hand the operations of the organisation by means of a guided tour.
Two Reunert College students participated in the 2016 CEO SleepOut held on 28 July 2016 on the Nelson Mandela Bridge in downtown Johannesburg. Reldean Williams, (Reunert bursar studying engineering at UJ) and Michael Mkhubiso (Class of 2016-learner at the Reunert College) was part of the Reunert Team-4-Change. The other two team members were Reunert chief financial offer, Nick Thomson and the chief executive of Reutech Solutions, Isaac Motale.
If ever there was a ‘hands-on’ activity, it would have to be drumming! It is just about the most energetic activity one can do sitting down.
On Friday 16 September 2016, a Reunert College Inter-Campus Volley Ball Tournament took place at the Alrode Campus.
